Does anybody feel ..... Part # 12

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone :D Glad you got home safe Debs but sorry you had problems with the hotel booking :( I'm looking forward to your photos and report. I've told DH he has 9 years to save up

My bantams have got a stalker :o We have a very persistant phesant in the garden. I have noticed him on the odd occasion before but today he's been there virtually all the time and isn't even afraid of the dog or cat

Yes! "Beware of the Chucks"

For chickens and ducks.

He will be going back for the personalised one once the WIR is complete

Our survey says?:

Eh Uh

It does say Beware Of The Chucks but I went straight for the personalised one  Its a metal sign, and I used a picture of the chickens + ducks on the patio yesterday :D

SC - sometimes big hotels make a transaction to pre-approve your card when you arrive in case of expenditure (though normally its a much lower amount  )

Before you leap on the phone do check that there is not a reversal of the transaction a bit further down your statement

Well the Babes were let out for a much longer session today. They have found a nice hidey hole behind one of the hawthorn trees. Kitty tried to have a bath in mud and succeeded in getting a terrifically muddy tummy - bit like when I first saw her. Mini tried to have a bath in the pit which I had opened up to get the sun on it to dry it out. She just got hunkered down when Squirt chased her off - then she stalked the banteenies but couldn't reach them in the undergrowth, then picked on Kitty (who ignored the whole thing because she was bathing), so I picked Squirt up and dumped her down the other side of me. Then I got the cushions out and sat down with Squirt pecking at my buttons. All banteenies had a snooze in their new zone, and the other girls came up the top, so I popped in for Spanish omlette while they were all happy. Then I went back out - the banteenies were in one of the veggie beds and starting to work round the side (next to the hedge, luckily the dog wasn't out). They all had some raisins laced with Flubenvet - as have the big girlies. The banteenies are now tucked in their own run, and I am thawing out in here! So far we have 3 eggs from one bantam, but I don't know which one (or it may be 2 of them because the first egg looks more torpedoey).

Aha, chucks = chicken and ducks - never thought of that option. 8)

I forgot to mention that Skye picked on Tipsy again today. Poor old Tipsy couldn't understand what was going on, she tried to make herself tall, took a step backwards and then ran up to the house whingeing all the way. Awww poor big birdie. I picked Skye up that time and told her off - so she knows that not only am I the alpha person in the house (even if everybody else refuses to accept it - and because I am mum, I am never wrong - hah!), I am also the alpha chicken in the garden - hah!

 aw..poor dad

*cough* aren't you meant to be revising Lewis?

I can see you online...tut tut

I find anything that annoys Chichi funny ...like when he dug the tree out of the garden and he broke two electric saws in the process.

Hm...all Karma seems to involve B&Q

Am trying to find a new avatar!

Its harder than it sounds when the pictures are so small so you can't see what it is

Have narrowed it down to a few :) - notice the Purkinje theme, they're all pictures from the 'chicks folder'

Will have to post them to see how they look on the forum

I'm soooooo excited, I'm going to have my hair all cut off  I normally have it quite short but I've been trying to grow it for ages and ages into a more respectable and mumsy bob. I hate it so it's all coming off today  I hate having to fanny about with it, styling it, drying it with a hairdryer only for it to look as flat as a pancake and awful again within minutes. I'm going back to the days of wash it, put some gunk on it, ruffle it, and for it to be dry and funky looking in a matter of minutes  Then I've got to go clothes shopping with child number two, that's not exciting at all

Grrrr, mumble, mumble  I'm so cross with DHs work. DH had booked an extra couple of days holidays as he needed his van serviced. He took the van first thing as arranged, i followed in the car so he could get home. They wont service the van as DHs work havn't paid for tyres he had in November yet  DH has sent a stinking email to his work and phoned and is still waiting for a response  It also means he will probably lose his days holiday tomorrow and will probably have to get the van serviced up in Manchester instead of here and may not be able to get home again if another van isn't available.
