Took Grandad to his appointment, it looks like the last eye operation was not a success we now have to wait for another appointment to have some scans done

Not good news about your Granadad. My brother had his scan a couple of days before Christmas but then they've been closed because of Christmas and NYE, so he should hear something today about another appointment

It's official - we will be moving in April 2012. We must be - he has made an itemised list on the computer of things to do before the due date! He hasn't done that before - it's usually been "in a couple of years" and that would be this summer, so another couple of years - plus the tick list!

Perhaps not Scotland - they get more snow than this neck of the woods! There's a nice one in The New Forest - went on satellite and they are next to some sort of dump! And they want the earth for it!!!! Some still for sale have daffodils out! Why are all the beautiful "just right" ones too expensive? Oh yeah, they are beautiful and just right. Oh pooh.

It has a main house, an annexe and potential for 5 caravans - so we can manage the crazy thread housing.

 

Even better it already has 2 aviaries built (although they have said on the site that they could be used as kennels )

Mum can stay in the bungalow with us and the teenagers can share the annexe - away from the old fogeys!

Overruled I'm afraid Debs. His lordship says it will need to be Wiltshire/Dorset because of work (it's all changing for him - hopefully for the better - which it will have to be because HAVE YOU SEEN HOW MUCH ALPACAS COST? ). Wales still looks nice (and it's not far from Hay on Wye - which we like, and Hereford, also lovely - but looks like that's out the window too).

In the annex with the teenagers and baggsy one of the stables ... can keep a few bock bocks and quack quacks and a gobble gooble or two in there Koojie's alpaca can live in the paddock and look after them all

I'd also like 1 plug in one of the outbuildings so we can always be hatching (hatch)'s

Happy New Year everyone! There seems to be a million pages to catch up on here, so can someone do me a roundup of all happenings since Christmas please?

 

Got back from Harrogate yesterday, made it out before the snow got too bad and had a good run back. Looks like we've acquired a ratty visitor though so yesterday afternoon was spent putting the eglu onto the patio, and filling in tunnels. Fingers crossed it'll be deterred now

Also the other day Erin said Wales is the coolest place to be - and she wasn't talking about the weather!

Guess who went into college today because her official timetable from the college said term starts Monday 4th? And who went shopping and came home early because college was closed? What a wasted journey, time and petrol because the college doesn't take a note of what details are handed out to their students!
