Dan's off school again, haven't had any fresh snow, but it was apparently -8 this morning, doesn't too icy in the garden though. We've had a little digger come round the road at the back and cars have been moving on there. I bet our road is still thick with snow, so we can only get as far as the end of the close! I said now that we had cleared a big gap in the circle we should turn it into a helicopter pad and forget about the roads. But none of us has a helicopter - always one little problem to a great idea. It's been the christmas holidays, then two days in school and now I'm having 3 days off and then the weekend. PurpleTree Posted January 7, 2010 Share Posted January 7, 2010 Just found out that from this evening Cardiff Council are only gritting priority routes, which doesn't seem to include any roads near me, in an effort to conserve road salt supplies. The rubbish won't get collected until next week either, they were meant to be collected today. We're starting to get a mountain of green bags, it's no wonder there's rats about.
