wow a red walk-in run, that looks really Do they come in purple? Dan's off school again, haven't had any fresh snow, but it was apparently -8 this morning, doesn't too icy in the garden though. I've opened the run door but I don't think the girls have ventured out yet, I actually closed the Eglu door last night - I didn't get up til 9 to let them out though

Mine were in until 9 too, but then most of them just stood in their coops looking horrified when I opened them, they can't believe that horrid white stuff is here two days in a row

We've had a little digger come round the road at the back and cars have been moving on there. I bet our road is still thick with snow, so we can only get as far as the end of the close! I said now that we had cleared a big gap in the circle we should turn it into a helicopter pad and forget about the roads. But none of us has a helicopter - always one little problem to a great idea.

The fences are kind of the same colour, the ones at the back need replacing, so its not too bad

I just kept sinking deeper and deeper while trying to escape. Luckily "Ooops, word censored!"ody could see (which is why I chose that spot - harrrr), and there's still plenty of snow under my incredible bulk!

Already heard that the school is closed again tomorrow, getting fed up with this now. If everyone i know can get to work, why can't the teachers?

Well there is, but only for the sixth formers..which means sister is going in.

 

It's been the christmas holidays, then two days in school and now I'm having 3 days off and then the weekend.

It feels rather peculiar

 

Phoned Chichi before and he said he'd take us to the theatre...he just wants us all to leave early.

College cancelled today and tomorrow is Erin's day off anyway - she's only just surfaced and I know she was still up at 3.30 this morning!

Just found out that from this evening Cardiff Council are only gritting priority routes, which doesn't seem to include any roads near me, in an effort to conserve road salt supplies. The rubbish won't get collected until next week either, they were meant to be collected today. We're starting to get a mountain of green bags, it's no wonder there's rats about. Hubby saw one on his way to work yesterday, happily scampering across the road to the park.

Twas -7 this morning, and despite the water heater, the water was still frozen. Just what you need to be doing at 6am in your PJ's and wellies before showering and getting ready for work
