Have fun at the panto Lewis and enjoy your curry! Did any of you young ones have to do a test before you started high school? As part of the admissions procedure. Adam has to go to his prospective high school tomorrow for cognitive testing. Its also meant to be so they can take a proportion of pupils across the ability range. He has a statement of eductational needs so official doesn't have to do the testing but the school have said it would be useful to them for him to do it. Us parents have to wait in the resturant

I didn't have to do test to get into high school, but once we were there we did do CATs for science, english and maths...that's how they put us into our sets.

Evening all. I was sent home early from work today with a sickness bug

 

Have spent all afternoon in bed

 

Hope they get your Meds sorted Claire. I am on statins and bp medication, only issue I get is I can't take decongestants for my sinuses, otherwise they are fine

It was quite good ... seems really wierd to be watching, went backstage and said hi to everyone

 

Me We had to do an entrance exam for school ... I did 3 for 3 different schools, and the one I'm at was 1st choice and I got in, so don't know if I passed the other 2.

I did do practices before (you can buy packs from WHSmith) but found it ok

 

Good luck - I was on the gate letting all the year 6's into school for ours and the parents always seem more stressed than the kids! I'm sure he'll be fine

DH has just taken DS as i'm feeling really awful Sorry to hear your poorly too Debs. We've had more snow overnight so have about 3 inches now and it's still snowing.

I'm used to the vampires now and don't really mind them. I hate having to take tablets though. I think i've got a urine infection which will mean more tablets Diabetics are more prone to them and i have lower back and stomach pain, only got about an hours sleep. I'll get DH to take me to the walk in centre when he and DS get back.

I was supposed to be going to football and seeing my sister today, I am staying in bed instead. However, my sister text me last night and apparently 3 of our players have come down with a stomach bug, so I am not alone

Thats where a downstairs bathroom comes in handy. Not so good when you need the loo at night though!

Have been to the walk in centre, but had to come back home, as i couldn't pee Have to go back later.

Nothing like a bit of cold to make the body shrivel so as not to work as required! Pity it doesn't work that way with my fat!

If I thought the cold would get rid of my fat, I would be out the garden in a shot

 

However, I am staying in bed in the warm I have managed some scrambled Grace egg on toast and a glass of half juice half water, so thats not too bad.

 

Phil has taken the girls some nice warming pellet porridge was some added veggies and they seem OK. Amazingly we have had 4 eggs today (only had 1 yesterday), I wish they would conserve their energy for keeping warm. I have been giving them loads of mealworms and corn in the hope it will slow their laying down and keep them warmer

We dont' have a problem with them conserving energy we haven't had eggs for weeks

I think are getting old and the others are too young ... father said he wants to replace Lewis wasn't very happy ... they're pets not machines

 

Lewis is thinking we may need some hybrids late this year/next year to keep the eggs coming in when retire.

 

 

Apparently if you sit in a cold bath for half an hour you lose 600 calories - they were talking about it at school yesterday .

Just a few more stone to go - I wonder how long I would have to sit in the bath to shift my bulk? I'd probably warm the water up rather than cool me down - especially with those nice little flushes that seem to happen on odd occasions.

Nah not going to suffer half an hour in a cold bath. Although imagine how warm the air would feel when you get out.

Just Tipsy and Kitty laying at the moment. Sioux has been off for a while, Apache dropped out last week and now so has Squirt.

Well after all that, she couldn't find any sign of infection I'm still in quite a bit of pain though. Have been advised to drink as much as i can and go back tomorrow if i don't feel any better.

Out of hours GP's are not the best in my view, not because they aren't good Dr's but because they haven't got your full medical details.

Saw my maths teacher today , helped me with the stuff I didnt understand . Also, some schools are making their pupils who are entered for exams stay over for the night....

Am too full for cake now!
