That's because you're going deaf in your old age :lol:

Sorry

Have a lovely time, Debsie...night xxx

I'm obviously better at keeping secrets than you 10.gif:wink:

OK who blabbed!

And I saw that JJ - Koojie-ish post indeed! :P

Reading being watched on the TV - I'm boooooored already. Of course as it's recorded he could fast forward but nooooooo.

Lovely photo's of the snowlady - she's winking of course. :D

The snow on the paths have gone where Murray cleared them and it's dripping everywhere. I think Erin willed it to snow because she didn't want to go to college - plus all her friends had snow and she was the only one who was looking out the window to see zilch.

Ah I can hear a very frustrated husband being annoyed by a certain young lady.

Have a lovely day Debs - see you soon - if not have a great birthday on Friday. I did say you were 21 - again.

Afternoon All! Dan's back in school  Although we still have lots of snow, and the roads are a bit yucky, seems to be melting quite fast though.

Hubby got stuck at the bottom of the street last night, managed to park up, then waited to see if anyone else would get stuck. They did, the lady from across the road, she must've phoned her hubby cos we saw him running down the road with a spade, so hubby went out to help. They pushed the car up, with a bit of shovelling enroute, then they helped hubby get our car up the road too. Community spirit  Not bad considering we've barely spoken to them before. Typically the police officer from next door, drove up in his old Corsa, with no probs at all

Wow, quiet today...Debsie's absence obviously

Well...Helloo...I hope you are all well who ever's out there.

Sister's just been to a university information evening thing...made me realise that she'll be gone in about 2 years ...it's kinda creepy.

She either wants to go to the Royal College of Music in London, the Royal Nothern College of Music in Manchester, the Royal Welsh College of Music in Cardiff or Birmingham Conservatoire.

Anyone else spot a theme

No more snow here... falling from the sky that is. There's tons on the ground and I get grumpy at having wet socks through walking through it to school :wink:

 JJ! Older sibling swap!

I'll come to Wales and she can come to Brum

I know a few people that have been to the conservatoire who are really good (but I bet wherever they go they would be!) and my friend is applying to go next (academic) year ... our form tutor knows one of the admissions tutors aswell

The applications stuff is different for music so I can't help there :eh:

We've just played Categorically speaking + now watching the Big bang theory :D

The replacement Go bits arrived today had a really quick look and will put it together later/tomorrow.

Hi peeps.

Erin's car broke down at college today (Murray drove her because of the snow in the car park - nowhere to stop and stay). So he called the AA. Yes they'd be there in 45 minutes. They'll be there 12.30. They'll definitely be there at 3.30. He was not a happy bunny, so he called mum's cousin who has a recovery business and he picked them up straight away. So he had lunch with us before he was called out to rescue his friend who had gone to rescue another car and had got stuck in snow. Luckily Mike has a huge lorry to pull him out, so off he went with Erin's car.

Sorry Claire's OH - Reading wins have been few and far between just lately.

- er she wants to join NASA????

Still tons of snow here in spite of melting. Roads are terrible still - we can see some bits of road, but the drop down from the top of the compacted ice is quite big.

Went shopping for our weekly bits and didn't have any problems regards stock. Also managed to get my tablets at long last for my blood pressure - I expect a wet weekend - or most of it spent running for the loo (water retention exiting  yes it's graphic but I like to hear you go ewwwwwww!).

Murray's off to Germany tomorrow for the carpet exhibition and he's nicking my car. Sore point which led to lots of huffs on both sides - Mike suddenly realised why he never got married.

And now:

Debs :D

Is the car at home now? What needs doing it to be mended?

Lewis is after some more lights  I need to fix one of the others + get a new lamp for it.

Bought one on ebay for £15, then there was another from the same seller for £17.50 that didn't sell ... I cheekily asked about the other expecting a no ... got them both for £20 :lol:

Debs, hope you had a nice time wherever it was you went, weren't you staying overnight somewhere? Sorry memory not so good.

Got the house to myself at the moment - bliss! Dan's at school, and my dad's taken Oliver to visit all my grandparents. Olly was in with us all last night, so I'm aching and tired.

I've been having a huge craving to put grated cheese on everything - curry & rice last night, last week I put it on my sausages, waffles and beans. Just can't help myself, baby needing lots of calcium I guess :D I had the grated cheese thing with both of the others too, it'll be glasses of milk and lots of yogurts next.

Thankyou all :D

We had a fab night last night, we went for the 9 course taster menu, I had the wine pairings to go with it, they are only very small glasses of wine, but still 9 glasses  Needless to say I was rather tiddly and woke up this morning needing lots of water and some headache tablets

The room was lovely, it had a bathroom with one of those multi headed showers, very unusual sensation, having water squirt up your body from towards the floor

Home now, and planning a nice relaxed day (that is if Henry will behave, he's acting up after staying the night in his grandparents  )

PT - your cravings sound interesting, there are far worse things to be craving than cheese :D

Cheesey curry is yum! The Indian we go to when we're at the in-laws house, actually does a curry with grated cheese melted on the top of it. Love cheesey naans too but not many places do them. Having a Chinese tomorrow night, must resist the urge to put grated cheese on it

Glad you had a good time Debs :D

Cheesy curry , not sure about that one PT! Oranges, orange juice and vinegary things were my cravings. My friend craved salad cream and even had it on cornflakes :vom::vom::vom:

Orderd myself a Bamix the other day after everyone rating them, i got a red one as have red bits and bobs in the kitchen. It came earlier today so i've been busy reading the manual and recipe leaflets :D
