Ain't Nobody Here
Great photo (and the back of Leo's head is very cute ). I like the blue T-shirt - might just go and have a look in the shop!
Paola
Fantastic pic Boris How was it on the flight with Leo?
Boris70
The flights were fine - long but fine. Leo slept quite a lot, and didn't cry at all - we were very lucky!

Jules.
picture I have to wait until my birthday when I hope my boys will buy me an Omlet t-shirt. I'll wear it in the campsite field at Keswick If I had been quick off the mark I could have worn it to Disneyland Paris ( got back late last night )

Clash City Rocker
: Have you got any tips on "doing" Rome in a day, then? We'll be there next Wednesday! We were there last Wednesday, very busy, very hot (95 degrees). We have been cruising, 7 major towns/cities in 7 days, Barcelona,Valletta,Naples,Rome,Pisa&Florence,Monaco and Monte Carlo, ALL of them offer a "hop on,hop off" open topped bus tour for about 15 Euros per person. We were advised that the "Red Bus" (various companies/colours available) was the most reliable and we had no problems. We spent 9 hours in Rome, started at the Vatican and Sistine Chapel at 08.30am (opening time), caught a bus to the Spanish Steps, the road opposite is home to every major designer label, Gucci, Prada, Channel etc. Walked to Trevi Fountain (5 mins) then had lunch in a restuarant in the narrow roadways around Trevi. Then caught the bus again to the Colosseum. Walked back to Vatican City (about 45 mins-1 hour) via Rome's main high street "Via Del Corso. We were really looking forward to visiting Rome and we weren't disappointed, a real "Ace" city. hope you enjoy it.

Clash City Rocker
Glad you had a good time. How did the gig go in your absence? Very good, over 200 people, which gave us a profit (after a few expenses) of £950.00 towards Trust funds. DJ Bod opened and closed the evening which he used as a warm-up for Claret's Festival in August Also distributed Flyer's advertising Claret's Festival (Aug 17-Aug 20). That should be good in my tiny back garden! Especially as I will have some guest eglus boarding holiday hens! Parking's a nightmare here though I haven't been able to do Global Gathering this year, which I miss
Guest
Not very far really (tried to get one in NYC but James was being a pickle!) But good "props" Its at Diggerland in Kent - James wore than Hi Vis jacket ALL DAY! So the Omlet T shirt didn't look too eccentric!

The Dogmother
Nice one Pengers! Tell James that I rode on the footplate of a steam loco at Quainton last year and got to stoke the firebox and pull the levers... my dream ... I didn't get a hi vis jacket though *pouts*
Guest
Wow -sounds good, stoking and all. They sell Hi Vis jackets in Ikea you know - we have a few of theirs but he couldn't wear one of those today as they say "ikea family" on the back - so they are for playing Ikea in!!!!
