Omlet T-shirts around the world!!

Recommended Posts

We got back from our absolutely fabulous holiday in New Zealand yesterday, and I'm trying to sort out 4 memory cards woth of photos  . How on earth did we manage to take so many pics :lol::lol::lol:

Anyway, the Omlet t-shirt pics got taken quite early on, in Auckland. There was meant to be 1 taken in Los Angeles on the way back, where we had a 6 hour stopover, but I'm not exactly photogenic at the best of times and after a cramped 14 hour flight with no sleep I wasn't looking my best, so that pic got deleted :shh:

These 2 pics were both taken in Sky Tower, which is probably Auckland's most famous (and tallest) landmark, you can see views of the city and harbour behind me. Simply stunning.

This is Sky Tower from the ground.

This pic is of my children and I having breakfast in a very lovely cafe in the city

The view was incredible Clare, but it was so high that I felt quite uncomfortable whenever I got too close to the edge. Logically you just know that it's safe, but it still terrified me

Better yet they had a kind of fixed bungy thing on it, so you could throw yourself off the side of it  .

We took this photo of a jumper who paused, mid jump just away from the window of the cafe where we were sitting and enjoying a quick cup of coffeee. Immediately after this photo was taken she plunged rapidly to the ground  I did consider fibbing and saying the pic was of me :lol::lol: , but I couldn't ever do a bungy jump......... too much of a wimp I'm afraid  . Both children gave it a go this holiday though, not off Sky Tower though.

Oh I have a thing about piers too. I think it was in Cromer/Norfolk where Darren took me to see the Life Boat place. It was right at the end of a very long pier and I walked the entire length holding my breath. I was fine on the bits where I couldn't see the sea through the gaps in the wood!

8) Fantastic, KateA, great pics. I do admire the lengths you went to, travelling right across the world with your family, just because we needed a T shirt photo from N.Z. for the forum. Very good of you.:wink:

Hope you all had a great time. Any further with The Plan, or don't you know?
