I loved your pictures from Saltburn!! We are about five miles down the beach from there at Redcar. Yes it is windy most of the time and the rest of the time it is 'blowing a hooligan'

 

When me and Couperwife first met she insisted on walking along the beach, as she is from Tamworth and the seaside was 'Holidays',

it was Novemeber!!!! and totally baltic, no amount of local knowledge about the dangers of dying of exposure cut any ice with her!!

 

I would hate to live too far from the sea I would really miss it.

We get great thunderstorms too! Much louder than the Midlands apparently!!

MP's Terrace Houses of Parliament 16/07/2007

 

Had all day in the Houses of Parliament & Big Ben. Stood next to the Bell (Big Ben) at 11.00am for all 11 strikes (Hearing protection provided & worn!!!).

No photos allowed.

Visited "House of Lords & House of Commons" while not in use in the morning, then went back for part of a debate about "Defence" in the Commons in the afternoon before "Tea on the Terrace".
