art12345
Every now and then i find my Sultan pom pom with her foot feathers bleeding slightly. I have seem her peck at them and her sister a pekin poppet peck at them and am not sure what to do. When it happens we seperate her for a short while and clean her foot with salt water i have also been using anti peck spray but am afraid to use it during this cold spell as it might freeze. Is my only option to bumper bit poppet?

art12345
happened again today it looks like the feather was ripped out and she seems to be spending more time in the house away from the others. Where can i buy a bantam bumper bit? I hate the idea of using these has anyone else got any other ideas first?
Egluntyne
Are you absolutrly certain that it isn't scaley leg mite. Not always easy to spot if the hen has feathered feet. Feather pulling in the legs and feet is typical behaviour associated with this. You can't get bumper bits for Bantams, and I'm not sure that it would address the problem anyway. Why not try Xeno 200. A few drops to the back of the neck is all that it required. Not licensed for use on poultry in UK. Egg withdrawal required.
