Just realised Dirty Dancing is on tonight on 5 at 9 o'clock.

I love this film, and I loved Patrick Swayze.

My little bantam buff orp is named Baby after him and this film.

Brilliant firm... One of Partick's finest.. right up there with Ghost!

 

They say the good die young.. he was one of the best!

 

Hope you enjoyed the film.. may have to try & watch it over the festive period if we get time.

*sigh* we remembered DD was on last night, so children were dispatched to bed....hot choc made....dogs arranged as snuggly blankets and one of the best films in history was watched for about the millionth time ....I haven't seen it for ages so it was great to watch again..............blooming advert breaks though

Watched a biography of Patrick recently (big fan) and he said that he hated that sentence. I bet he didn't realise at the time just how much that sentence would be remembered.

I watched it recently on another channel and I have to say I cried. it's so sad to think he's gone.

I persuaded my 14 yr old daughter to watch it, I raved and reminiced about the film, my teenage years, and that my friend and I used to be able to recite the words to the entire film.

But she thought it was very boring , old fashioned and really couldn't see what all my fuss was about.
