chelsea
Lovely flowers Helen.. Our vicar was dead against decorating the church "Its a house of God, not a bloody florists" or something along those lines. He also moaned at OH's dad (who was his best man ) for having such a flourishing signature.... I think he was afraid he would snap his precious ink pen. Still have my wedding dress, but 15 years on, I'll never fit into it ever again.... and the photos are now old enough to look out of fashion and dated, so I'm not posting any.... Where is the Seychelles did you go Chelsea? We've been there too: Mahé, Bird Island, Praslin and La Digue. OMG what a coincidence! We married at the plantation club on mahe and then went to bird island for our "honeymoon" I thought bird island was fantastic !!

bronze
Annie you look so so young and I thought I was fairly young when I got married at 21 I have a pic somewhere five years and three children (and a few other lifechanging events) later we don't look quite the same
AnnieP
Three children in five years!! You must be mad! that photo is something special: The happiness: You can feel it! I love the more informal "journalistic" wedding photos they do nowadays... nothing available like that back in the olden days
chelsea
agree about the photo.. i much prefer these natural shots to the "staged" line-ups of guests. lovely.
Snowy
What gorgeous photos - all of'em! Love wedding pics - lets have some more! (and no, you are not getting any of mine - I looked like a toilet roll doll )

Mrs Frugal
I'll be brave and post mine because we'll have been very happily married for 20 years in a few weeks time. Can't believe how young we both look. I've still got the dress in my wardrobe but couldn't get into it now! LSH has filled out a bit since then! He was so thin when I met him, bless him. AnnieP
Kate! That's gorgeous! You haven't changed at all! Aren't we all silly for keeping the dresses...
Mrs Frugal
Just can't part with them, can we !! My Mum made mine so it's very sentimental for me.
bronze
I kept mine (ahem) my daughter may want to wear it (yeah right) well at least I want to give her the option to or she could even hack it about a bit if she wants.
Cinnamon
All your dresses are so gorgeous - mine was a full-on '80's nightmare of a meringue! I still have it of course. In fact it takes up a good third of my wardrobe, there is so much of it I will see if I feel brave enough to post a picture later. Egluntyne
Mine ended up in my daughters dressing up box. It was very understated and had a pie crust collar .....well before Princess Diana made them popular....in her Sloane Ranger days. Oh...and it cost £40! Cheap at half the price. I don't think I've worn a dress since.
Guest
My dress cost £60 because it was really a bridesmaid's dress. Who would put bridesmaids in white?? But I liked it, so that's what I had. I still have it in a suitcase in the loft. I liked my veil best, which was really long. I thought that I could dye the dress and use it as for concerts, but could never quite bring myself to. It's just special because it's my wedding dress.
gooner.girl
I hated my veil, i wish i hadn't worn one - it just got in the way. My dress was so lovely, you can't really see it in the picture i posted I could never chuck it away or sell it on... I wore trainers in the evening under the wedding dress anyway, can't be doing with wearing proper shoes for any length of time!
Looney
I love all your photos, and you are all smiling so beautifully... I would worry about my inability to smile unless it is a Wallace and Gromit grin as soon as a camera is nearby...... .....I'm quite worried about being a bridesmaid in April because of this....I was one last August and my word, I bet the Bride regrets asking me after all the cheesy grins I seem to be pulling on the photos ! I think I have 2 half decent photos (of me, the bride was stunning) for the whole day! Look forward to seeing some more wedding pics.....!!!!
