FATduck27
About 2 years ago I was at Fowl Sale and I spotted a man with a trailer full of chickens, as I was talking to him I saw a chicken feed bag on the back of his van with somting inside it, I said noting and walked off. I went back to where the man was, he was gone but he had left the bag there. I went and took the bag and looked inside, there was this very sick looking cock in the bag. So I put him in my car and brought him home. I put him straight into a small pen to take a look at him. He was in a bad state, his comb was torn and he was missing an eye, he had bumble foot and was covered in mites. It took a long year and a close eye to get him right, but now he's good as new. I never put him back in one of our pens, He just walks around the garden with our older birds and sleeps in a tree next to the house. Anyway, the reason I posted this topic is to see if anybody can help me identify his breed, obviously he's no pure breed, but I would appreciate any suggestions to what he is a mix of. tom123
Probably a Sablepoot crossed with a araucana or another gamey breed like this. Maybe even and Old English Game. Defiantly not a pure Sablepoot though.

Thanks for the help.

tom123
True, but due to his size I can't see him being crossed with anything that small, maybe though
