can;t get 1st copy and I dont want to subscribe in case I am hopeless. A friend who is craft minded couldnt do the crochet for love or money so I';d love to be able to do it. Oneupmanship - how sad is that

We bought all of the first flush of issues of the knitting version of this at least £200 worth, therefore although i would love to learn to crochet i will be holding off from this one.

 

My YD had the knitting one in lieu of pocket money for nearly 2 years, she loves to knit, aminly scarves and hats. One day I will have a go at some of the projects.

 

We were annoyes at what we thought was the end of the run it continued into another run, we called it a halt at that point.

I'll show you all mine tomorrow. However, most of mine are from my book 200 crochet blocks. I did a bobble one yesterday, which I love.

My practice square looked distinctly triangular.... . The treble crochet got a bit more square like as it was easier to see where the end of the previous row was.

I quite fancied doing the scarf out of issue 1 but had a shock at the price of the wool .

I have been getting better and better with my double crochet and slip stitch I am quite pleased with myself. Just have to make up some squares when I finish some charity squares for the other thread.

I cannot get issue one anywhere - have tried googling back issues but keep getting american sites - any ideas anyone?
