scubababe Posted January 7, 2010 Share Posted January 7, 2010 My cube was delivered on Monday morning and was up and running in no time at all. Monday afternoon we went to a recommended poultry farm and chose our ladies. Soooooo excited...busy trawling the internet/Omlet for advice & recommendations. Not impressed with the weather but my girlies don't seem phased by it at all. We have put an Army ground sheet over the top of the cube and run which has provided a good cover for them and kept most of the snow off them. They have been enjoying pasta/mashed potatoe & grapes as treats so far. Diatom is ready for the dust tray & coop as a precaution. Verm-x for cleaning to coop. Cider vinager for the water. Poultry spice & garlic granuals for daily dosing as well as the pellets and corn..... AND ... SO EGGCITED...We even got our first egg on Tuesday!! and another one today!! I think is was likely to be Ruby who's been leaving us the treats. Will keep a closer eye out tomorrow.
