Just another of those oblique thoughts I have from time to time, in this case combining "politically correct" and the grandfather's mortal reliance on a timepiece.

 

Is it possible to present all our political representatives with similar Grandfather Clocks that are, in fact, cunningly disguised 3 minute egg timers, then wait for 3 minutes and see what happens? I, for one, have high hopes....

I remembered a bit of our school motto but unbelievably Google found the whole thing for me . (Nothing to do with my school though which closed down when I was 17!)
