Sheilaz
Well, you both whizzed past 1100, so no time to change your title every 100 postings! 1500 would be good to honour but we'll need longer to think of a title...look at the agonies we went through last time...so how about at 2000? By the way, Lesley. Sorry to hear you're hobbling again & hope its not too painful.
Lesley
I still think I should be an Ostrich! Thanks Sheila - unexplained sharp pain through left ankle - difficult to cope with as I can't use right leg as support because of the injury to right knee - I need the Vet - again. (Sammi's little Leprechaun could come along with his gun and put me out of my misery!)
Sheilaz
Ouch...sit down & I'll tell you a story.. its called Things I've Learned This Week; 1. If you bump into an old friend & start enthusing about Eglu...stop... she's thinking of getting one, then she'll come into forum and see what rubbish I've written when, obviously, before that she thoght I was not at all deranged. 2. If you need advice on wing clipping, read the whole thread on forum...stop... by the time you've read that you won't have a clue what to do or who else does 1 wing or both wings & they won't know either... (only teasing!) and, you could have been reading all the yummy cake thread in nesting box instead.
Mrs Frugal
Don't worry Sheila, I'm as confused now about wing clipping as I am about black holes and the birth of the universe !
Sheilaz
Ah Kate, let me explain about black holes....my brother tried to tell me once (& once was enough for him, believe me) On 2nd thoughts, I now know more about wing clipping.... ...would you like me to ask him about parallel universe & 5th dimension...or was it 6th dimension ...and what happenened to 4th?... I think something might run in the family (Long legs RUN in our family ) But he got the brains... And other brother got the beauty... Lesley
Are you sure that's only tea in that cup?
Mrs Frugal
I think on reflection, Sheila, the less I know about space and the universe the better. It's all a bit too big and scary for little me . I was fine when I thought it was just the moon and the earth!! I think the same applies to wing clipping..................
Guest
When paimting the "Girls" fence posts and gate in new run, make sure OH HAS left a door open for you to get back into the house . Crazy thing was he did say he would open the patio door, and lock the back door .. before going back to bed (on a night shift tonight). That left me ringing the bell, and throwing stones at the front bedroom window, with a few neighbours chuckling load enough for me to hear If you need advice on wing clipping, read the whole thread on forum...stop... by the time you've read that you won't have a clue what to do or who else does 1 wing or both wings & they won't know either... I have also learnt this week .. not to give any mre advice on this forum.
Lesley
Oh Sarah - all advice is of merit on here - we're all new so a good debate never hurts - prompts us to do some research! (and you can't hide behind Guest!)
SarahJo
Oh Sarah - all advice is of merit on here - we're all new so a good debate never hurts - prompts us to do some research! (and you can't hide behind Guest!) Worth a try
Sheilaz
But, Lesley, how did you know the guest posting was Sarah? Has OH locked her out before? Sarah...I was really only teasing about the advice! I'm dreading getting locked out when door slams behind me at 6am & I've just got old nightie on!
Lesley
Better than an old coat and wellies and nothing else
Guest
Another thing I've learned ... don't mess with profile settings .. you can't log in . But, Lesley, how did you know the guest posting was Sarah? Has OH locked her out before? he'd try, but he's not that stupid . I think the Avatar is the big giveaway Shelia. And I was only teasing back about the not giving advice anymore .... Lesley Better than an old coat and wellies and nothing else that WOULD be embarrasing

Sheilaz
But, Lesley, how did you know the guest posting was Sarah? I think the Avatar is the big giveaway Shelia. Now, when I asked that, your posting DID NOT HAVE AN AVARAR NEXT TO IT! Aha, a plot to make me look dim again. Its working. Nicola, where's the darkened room.......... PS Had got used to you as Biscuits but SarahJo is a cool name too
Guest
By goodness ... you are RIGHT ... not only cannot log-in, but the ruddy hen popping out the egg has vanished too . Oh, Sheila .....I'm the dim wit, too much messing about changing things Aha, a plot to make me look dim again. Its working. Sheilaz
Well, I had been regretting being known as Sheila, partly cos there could be another Sheila, but mostly cos I should have stayed anonymous in case St.Albans peeps join in and recognize me. (There will be hundreds of Eglus in St. Albans soon, cos I keep recommending them...sometimes to complete strangers!) So, SarahJo, you've found the ultimate anonimity! Took a while to work out that spelling) ..................Except we've told everyone who you are Going to be years before you become a chatty chicken though (with no name!)
Guest
I could be like the Scarlett Pimpernel Just popping up here, there and everywhere .. but like you say, may never get to be a "Chatty Chook" Sarah ....
Mrs Frugal
Oh Sarah, what have you done!! Anonymity is OK some of the time but as you say, it'll be a while before you're a chatty chook! Sheila, I know what you mean. My username had my surname too but I dropped that in case anyone I knew logged on - not much chance really as the forum is exclusive to Eglu owners but you never know!! My reputation as a mad woman is fairly widespread so I don't know why I'm worried !
Lesley
I made it to Chatty Chicken despite being guest for about 20 posts I knew it was Sarah because she'd been talking about painting in another topic - no supernatural powers
Trish
Hope this isn't too off topic. Matthew (our eldest) passed the Piano exam that was sooo messed up the other week He passed Grade 2 Jazz Piano (which is way harder than the Double bass grade 2 exam I took, at school) and he passed with distinction, which is as good as you can get. So proud, we also found out today that he got a Bronze in a National Maths challenge he does most years. I don't know where he gets his brains from so the good looks must be from me
