Morning all - PT will be waking up to a lovely new view I hope - if she managed any sleep at that time!!!

I see there is another use for Cookie's scarf - wrapping round her head to support her jaw! Awwww lovely hubby wid de flowers. Hmm that exercise sounds like the treatment for cramp too. Although that is not done in a steady fashion - arghhh cramp! Yank up the toesies.

Housework? :eh: Never heard of it.

Now where's our Clootie?

Oooh did I miss Gwiffin's birthday? :shock:1.gif

Squirt looks relatively OK, she's taking it nice and steady so far - but then they all hung round me this morning. Usually it's a mad dash to the top of the garden - heaven help anyone get in the way - STAMPEDE!!!! But we all did the leisurely stroll (apart from Tipsy who was filling her face before anyone got there). Squirt doesn't appear to be limping at the moment, so I expect she'll feel it later on. It doesn't stop her eating anyway. :D

Murray would like to go and explore Romsey today. I have been through many times but never stopped, so if it doesn't rain then I'll go. Been snotty yesterday again - Thursday I thought it was all over with, but today I'm a bit sinusy. Lovely - not!

Well sun's out, so I suppose I'd better get sorted. :D

See you later peeps.

Change of plans - he's going next week with or without me. Fine! Anyway it's clouding over and getting dark - heheheheh. I would rather go next week as it gives the pesky cold a chance to go away. He says if it's raining he'll go to Greenwich instead. Jolly good - I won't be going there so he can blooming go on his own. Been there, done that and the only time I'll go next is when the Cutty Sark is back to normal. :notalk:

Mum says Squirt and Tipsy are missing. I can hear Patch at the door whining.

Afternoooon :D

'Tis half term so WIR 'building' starts :D

Have started to dig ready for the concrete ... with the help of the chucks ... I think now is the first time they're actually like a little flock  Before they littlies would be up top, ducks on the patio and the PP's would be somewhere on the middle, but the last couple of days they've all been together all over :D

Just goes to show how long intrp's can take for the to be properly intro'd

I always think Cutty Sark is a really wierd word/name  It sounds really 8) but looks wierd written down :eh:

Back to the digging :)

Well I watched the Chelsea v Cardiff FA Cup game, and we lost, but we did score a goal, and lets face it, it was Chelsea the leaders of the Premiership

I have been craft-tastic, and have made several things, including my Crafty swap items.

I am stopping now though to spend some time with the girls, even though this crafting malarkey is rather addictive :anxious:

Now I am not the most talented of crafters, infact I am pretty pants, but I am delighted with what I have produced

I just hope my secret swap will like it too

Laters xx

PS> Lewis - Take care with digging, you know what an accident prone lot we are on the crazy thread

Cutty Sark haha - you'll have to check with Cloots for the meaning. It's all Robert Burns fault. The figurehead is called Nannie Dee which is a character in one of his poems and the cutty sark is a Scottish word for an undershirt which she wore (apparently it was rather on the tight side - unlike the figurehead which is floaty although I think it looks like she's topless  ) I think she was supposed to be a witch, but not too sure.

Glad to hear a start has been made for the WIR - even nicer to hear the birdies getting along nicely.

Well done Debs crafting away.

Have dug up some mega parsnips - checked what they were supposed to be on my kitchen garden diary and they are Tender and True and sown in March. I looked up February and it said 2nd was deep snow and continued for a week followed by non-stop rain and then cold. I came indoors to wash my hands and mum said ooh you were out in the snow then. Eh? It had only just started - it wasn't doing it when I was out there. It soon stopped. Had lunch and then went back out for some Jerusalem artichokes (mega impressed with the Garnet ones - they are huuuuuge). Obviously it took longer than usual down to several heads getting in the way. And it started snowing again. Poo! So I've given the girls some corn and considering putting them away earlier tonight as it seems to be getting dark earlier.

Squirt still limping a bit, but she hasn't been squatting down much today - she is on her feet whenever I check on her which is much better than yesterday (and I made sure she had a couple of big worms, but she stuck her head in too). Hopefully it will sort itself out. When dishing out the treats I've been going to her rather than her wandering up only to find the piggies have scoffed the lot already.

Watch out Cookie - you'll get a singed bum! Burnt Cookies!
