Guest
Does anyone else think we should predict the England (yawn!) game for a bit of fun?! nahh - well, people can predict it if they like - but I'm not inclined to include it in the table... (unless there's huge demand!) it'd be much more fun to predict which England player will get injured - and hence which Premiership manager will be moaning about compensation after the game!!) my money's on Wayne Rooney - and therefore, SirAlex - or Carlosh Quierroshhhh Phil
Guest
I thought the new stadium and the staying Henry would give you a huge lift, but "Ooops, word censored!"nal have failed in the title race dismally! The new stadium is great on the inside. If I had to choose an attractive stadium other than the Reebok - it's be the Emirates. padded seats, good sight-lines - and I love the wavy design of the top of the stands which makes it feel less like a "box".. and particularly well done to "Ooops, word censored!"nal for keeping it right in the middle of those houses - rather than in a soul-less out-of-town shopping centre (like the Reebok!) well done "Ooops, word censored!"nal!!! Martin B
Padded seats! You should never sit down if you're an away fan! It's the rules. They are good though aren't they! sExY Stadium!

Phil Yeah - we love it!! Pity they didn't update the transport arrangements in tandem so that people can disperse properly afterwards. Very glad I'm not directly on the stadium to tube route - I wouldnt want post-match crowds outside my door for an hour after the match.... gooner.girl
Its a pain in the backside waiting for the tube Kannie - especially late at night after evening matches... Although the queue moves quite quickly its soooo long! Thankfully last time, we met Phil in the pub afterwards and by the time we had left there, the queue had gone... It is a great stadium.... Though i do miss Highbury...

Guest
it'd be much more fun to predict which England player will get injured - and hence which Premiership manager will be moaning about compensation after the game!!) my money's on Wayne Rooney - and therefore, SirAlex - or Carlosh Quierroshhhh Phil musing on this last night... Most premiership teams have got players on international duty this week - our squad is jetting off all over the world - it's a nervous time for managers - and I have heard most of them at one time or another (including) BigSam having a good old moan at losing players through injury or jet-lag in meaningless friendlies around the world at the busiest time of the premiership season.. but it's one thing I have never heard Wenger moan about - granted he has a big squad - so it's not such a big deal to him - but he seems more happy that his younger players get the chance to gain experience on the international stage - so seeing the bigger picture - that it is ultimately a benefit to "Ooops, word censored!"nal for them to get these opportunities.. three cheers for "Ooops, word censored!"ne!! hurrah! hurrah! hurrah! Phil PS I see that young Cesc Fibreglass is in the squad to face England tonight... I'm sure young Gareth Wheel-Barrow will snuff him out, eh Martin?? Guest
here's the view of a Bolton mate of mine on Steve Interesting McClaren's team-selection for tonight... what in the name of all that's good and holy does Steve McLarenbl**dy well think he's doing? Stinky Phil back? Frank 'never beat a defender in my life' Lampard as a left winger? Crouch on his own up front in a bl**dy friendly, AT HOME. I'm sorry, give any bloke a chance and all that but this is bordering on the freakish. S*d off, and take your shiny teeth with you! you have to admit - he has a point!! Martin B
Is this arguably the worst England team ever? Foster Neville Woodgate Ferdinand Neville SWP Carrick Lampard Gerrard Dyer Crouch Robinson needs a good game to build some confidence, he's been shocking recently! Phil Neville at left back! Should be Gareth Barry! If Gareth doesn't get in at LB he shoud be playing LM, Gerrard hates playing on the right, so goodness knows what he thinks about playing on the left. It should be Lampard and Gerrard in the centre, and Barry should have been given a chance! Dyer upfront tops it off! SWP is a floping flopster, and should not even be considered in the squad. If I was manager I'd play it as: Robinson Richards Ferdinand Woodgate Barry Beckham Gerrard Lampard Downing Crouch Bent Obviously without all the ingured players it'd be better! Guest
If I was manager I'd play it as: Robinson Richards Ferdinand Woodgate Barry Beckham Gerrard Lampard Downing Crouch Bent A crouch and a bent up front, eh? How about little known Wigan reservist Gary Stoop and the stockport county midfielder - Andy Leanover - and the Blackburn Rovers defender Sidney Squat?
