One that me & hubby will enjoy & also my parents & sister, when I go their houses. We've got Wii sports & Wii sports resort - waiting for the Wii fit plus & board to come. Been looking at... We sing Just dance Mario Kart Want something we can have a good laugh with. We don't like fighting or shooting sort of games. Anyone also know what Wii music is? PurpleTree Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 We've all had fun with Mario Kart, haven't got it ourselves but played it at friends. We usually end up just playing bowling or tennis. Hubby is really getting into Guitar Hero - it's harder than it looks! You can play Mario Kart with just the Wii controls (you put the controllers inside the steering wheels), but I think it looks better if you have the steering wheels - at least 2, depends how many of you want to play at once I guess. ..lay a little egg for me Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 I am absolutely hopeless at Mario Karts and am always in last place and finding it very frustrating. I played Just Dance at a friend's house at the weekend and it was great fun (I was pretty hopeless at it too, but I loved dancing along). Lots of songs on it from 1970s to modern ones. Emma.x You can get wheels but you don't need them at all (I got one from Poundland ) It is just what you get used to, if you start on the remotes it is difficult to then use a wheel. Helly Welly Posted February 2, 2010 Share Posted February 2, 2010 We love Mariokart, we get very competitive! Got New Super Mario Bros for Christmas which is good fun as everyone can play. For a silly quick game we got Carnival, which isn't very sophisticted but is very addictive. Super Mario Galaxy is a good platform game. Wii Play is fab but i assume you got that with your Wii. I've been wanting to have a go on Just Dance, am looking for the best price. I also want a good singing game. We are waiting for the wii fit plus & board to arrive from QVC...only place that had it in stock. My plan is to put a black skin/cover on the board. We really fancy buying We sing - it comes with 2 microphones & looks a good laugh. Mario Kart I also would like to buy this weekend - my dad would like that. I'll have to add that to my list... I want to get 'We Sing' too but OH looks horrified every time I mention it !! Has anybody tried 'Endless Ocean'? furryelephant Posted February 3, 2010 Share Posted February 3, 2010 I picked up a copy of Just Dance at the weekend and made a fool of myself zig-a-zig ahhing away Planning a party night with the girls (although we have got SingStar Take That planned first!) as it's great fun Endless Ocean is nice, but not very fast paced... I love wasting an hour or so on it it's nice and relaxing. I'm going to grab a copy of the new version when I'm next near Game (you can swim in the Agean... make me feel like I'm on holiday!)
