I am taking DD to Le Petit Blanc in Bristol for a birthday treat next weekend. The prices are more reasonable and the menu looks great. Patricia W Posted February 16, 2010 Share Posted February 16, 2010 I work on the premise that I'd rather do Le Manoir once in a blue moon than go anywhere else a 100 times. That's why we don't go out much! For OH's last 2 christmas presents, I've bought him a day at Le Manoir Cookery School (it's only 15 mins drive from us) He loved it and has two certificates to prove it, plus a chef's jacket and apron a la Raymond. I did think I might have a go at the tart thing sometime (I forget what it was called now) as that didn't look toooooo complicated. I would probably give the fiddly toffee hazlenuts a miss though. We had a lovely meal on our anniversary last year.
