Raymond Blanc's Kitchen Secrets....

Recommended Posts

I work on the premise that I'd rather do Le Manoir once in a blue moon than go anywhere else a 100 times. That's why we don't go out much!

For OH's last 2 christmas presents, I've bought him a day at Le Manoir Cookery School (it's only 15 mins drive from us) He loved it and has two certificates to prove it, plus a chef's jacket and apron a la Raymond.

Trouble is, he now thinks he knows EVERYTHING about cooking - which is somewhat annoying!

I'm going to iplayer this one OH watched it last night but didn't tell me it was on, I was reading and he didn't want to disturb me  He thought the coffee cup thing was 8)

We have a Brasserie Blanc in Cheltenham and have eaten there a few times, but only ever at lunchtime. We had a lovely meal on our anniversary last year.

The most expensive place that we have ever eaten and again this was lunchtime was Rick Steins Seafood restaurant last year, it was worth every penny and they treated our children like royalty :D
