Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 14

Recommended Posts

Sure come on down Debs, I've told the boys they're not allowed anymore until after their tea, so there's plenty here. Still got to do the dishes though, the downside to cooking :( Might leave them for hubby to do, when he does the dishes after tea - my back's aching.

Ahhhh widdle Nugget. At least she isn't squealing like Kitty! :lol:

Yummmmmm fancy those cakes. :drool::drool::drool:

Dug over the runner bean bed which is going to be the parsnip bed this year with a bit of help from my friends. Another small bed and one of the large beds that we had spuds in last year - and I found a potato in really good condition and well shaped. Yayyyyy treasure me harties! So I feel a little bit stiff now. We used to have a lot of worms - and I did see lots of worms while digging, but I think the girls have had meat spaghetti and now we don't have lots of worms. :lol:

Debs your little newbies are gorgeous :mrgreen: Lucky you :D How quick is your OH getting them on your web site already :shock: very impressed :D

I am still quite jealous, I wish i could have been there but it did clash with London fashion weekend :roll:

Well, after worrying and expecting torrential downpours and wind we were very pleasantly surprised by the weather. Only needed an umbrella for 10mins going from from car to tube to somerset house and the rest of the day was, if not sunny, then absolutely fine. Had a fantastic time and the catwalk show was amazing although those models really need a few pies :shock: and the walks were straight off Monty Pytons ministry of funny walks - wierd! :lol:

Then we went to covent garden and onto camden market. Fantastic retail therapy, lots of shopping done and a brilliant day just me and ED :dance:

I felt like doing that, honestly, they look like freaks, they're even skinnier in real life than you see on the telly. If some poor girl saw them and tried to emulate i dread to think what could happen. Its all very well if your naturally thin, but some of these girls look so gaunt and tired it surely cant be natural :? and thats with a bucket load of make up on.

And, how do the designers think their clothes look good on these girls when surely its real women with real curves who are doing the buying?

:lol::lol::lol::clap: Now that's what I call a successful shop. I'm so fussy - and I have a particular thing I'm looking for and end up really bad tempered because they never have what I want - and that was in the thin days - it's worse now. Mum was dreading going shopping for a wedding dress - luckily for her the first shop was ideal - and even though we looked for something else the first one had that special whoosh (no hoops just lots of layers). She was mightily relieved.

Ho hum dinner dings the bell. Pity the rice is done but the chilli has a few minutes to go. :roll:

Sounds marvellous Sandie :D

Donna is still manic after the newbies arrival, she's picking on everyone :x

So everyone has been sprayed with anti peck spray (including her as Barbara retaliated) I am hoping to avoid the bumper bit if possible :pray:

The cut that Dorothea took to her comb through the run has been gently painted with purple spray, she was a very good girl :D

Hope they all calm down tomorrow Debs :?

Nat walked into my room to ask me something earlier, walked out, then walked back in ... :eh:

"Why is there a chicken roaming around your room?"

"She's sitting ... and you're just jealous" :P

:wink::lol:

:lol::lol: Thats funny Lewis :lol::lol:

It should calm down tomorrow, it was the same when Nyssa and Susan arrived :roll: I think we went through 3 days of craziness, reducing each day and then it settled down :) Fingers crossed it will be the same again this time :pray:

Hopefully, with corn training, I can feel happy to let Dorothea and Tegan out to free range, rather than moving them to the WIR, that should make Donna feel less threatened :roll:

Hopefully by Saturday I can let them free range, and then I will let a few well behaved girls free range with them too on Sunday :) That worked a treat with my last 2 sets of intros :wink:

:D Fingers crossed! fingers%2520crossed.gif

Just thinking about the 1:1 intro with Nugget, have read the thread that says to take it slowly as normal, but don't know wether it'd work by putting them both in the (green eglu) and seeing how they get on? :think:

I think she was always at the bottom of the pecking order, I can separate her yep, but she probably will appreciate having a friend :lol:

Just asked Tasha and she said try them together and they can always be separated if there are any problems :)

24 hours in and you have broken my chook!? :lol:

:oops::oops::oops: Don't Tasha, I said the exact same thing to Cooks earlier. I feel terrible :oops::oops::oops:

On the plus side, she has been great for a cuddle and has eaten some grapes off me, so I think she is settling in OK (other than the cut of course :oops: )
