I DID fall over on the mud yesterday though and pull my back so I guess I belong there.

I have created a specific Clumsy Corner for you now - it seems it is required!!!!! - it is padded and there is nothing to trip over and no sharp edges

Joins Cooks in the clumsy corner It's not swollen but is quite painfull. I think i've probably just sprained it. If i'm still in pain later i'll go to the local minor injuries unit.

Just caught Dory telling Pepsi to hurry up and lay her egg as she wants the nestbox all to herself, I ruffled pepsi's feathers and said to her dont let her bully you and picked her up thinking she'd already laid... and out popped her egg.. it bounced off my foot!, luckily it didn't break! :lol: blimey she's heavy!!!

well it was the dogy one, but foot is much better now, only get the odd ache and twinge.

she must have read the PMs. Well....if the lottie bloke didn't think i was crazy before he does now Went to collect eggs and Pootle has gone broody I was telling her how daft she is as nothing will hatch and how she picked her moment as i can't lift her one handed. I didn't realise Ian was the other side of the hedge working on his lottie

I can so sympathise with all those in pain today - rushing around this morning I managed to stub my little toe on the metal door frame as I was coming indoors from letting the girls out, it was one of those tears to the eyes moments and there were lots of expletives

 

I can now feel my toe throbbing inside my workboot!

 

So hugs and painkillers all round today.

Afternoon all! Another gorgeous day here again, hung the washing out and played in the garden for a bit with Olly.

 

He just put his orders in for lunch, then laid down and fell asleep Guess he'll be having lunch a bit later then.

I have just pulled the Eglu out of storage and given it a good wash, I will jet wash it aswell when I can. Had Pepsi on my lap after stroking her I made her so sleepy I put her on the grass in her crouching position and she fell sideways.. shes woken up now! she loves her cuddles that one

Been power hosing the paths and patio. Darned funny arm again - it's very irritating - better than it was at Christmas, but is stuck in a groove and that hose hasn't helped. Must go to dentist and doc. Move over Laura and Claire in the Clumsy corner (taking care not to bundle Cookie over on the way in). Or maybe just a padded cell would be nice.

The girls have been very naughty today - well Squirt mainly and Tipsy. Bokking their heads off. Tipsy in box - Squirt wants box. Deja vu going on here. So here I am, cup of coffee playing on here and BOKKKKK again. Have no idea what's up - they are all trying to get out of the door because I've gone down to see what's up and it looks like some football match where the people are squashing up against the fence - in this case Skye being squashed by Patch, Tipsy and Squirt. Squirt then knocks the drink top off and all that's left is the red bottom bit and they are now all drinking out of that. I have had stern words and done some finger waggling. Cold coffee anyone?

 

Hahaha at the builder - who's a big softy then? At least that part of the run is completed, so onwards an upwards with the rest of it.

Henry stopped in front on me in the kitchen, no warning, just stopped mid walk and I kind of fell to avoid walking in to him and tripped against the sink and have hurt my wrist

 

I swore at Henry, then felt really bad, so had to make a big fuss and give him some milk bones

There was a big flatulence scene, Phil has been in hysterics. He is like a 10 year old on those kind of things

CnN were both sitting in the nest box earlier, then N got off and left Cilla to hatching some more wood shavings.

Quacks were bombing it round the garden chasing each other, then Gerald jumped Jemima So unlady like! hopefully means it won't be too long before we get her 1st egg

 

Just watched last weeks (me thinks ?) Wild at Heart - so stupidly dramatic, but I love it
