Have been out to squirt Squirt in the early hours - I think either the blackbird is rummaging around outside the back of the run or the blue tits working away in the nest box which is also at the back (had the same trouble this time last year, but it sorted itself out a few months later - oh yes, Christmas was coming that's why ). I also have a few 78's that my grandmother let me have - probably warped somewhere in the loft. At least Olly walked so I could use my brolly. Had parents evening yesterday. The teacher seem to absolutely love Dan, thinks he's brilliant. She's also going to push him on with his reading as she thinks he's more than capable. He'll be learning words that they give the next year up Very proud of him Hubby's not coming home til late tonight, he's going to the footie straight from work. Raining here too, but sunny at the moment - or it's trying very hard to get brighter. Just took number one to work - cost's him more than an hours wages to travel every day. We've decided to refund the cost of travel when he completes his contract. He doesn't know it yet - and if he decides to quit he'll get nothing, zip, nada. Erin wants a satnav for her birthday, so they went to Curry's yesterday and they only had one and sold it and would order another one. One at a time? So his lordship's called John Lewis and they are reserving one and we'll either pick it up on Friday or Saturday.
