No need to be scared. Fear is just a metabolic resonse to the body releasing too much adrenaline thereby causing the fight or flight response in the bodys nervous system, shortly followed by endorphines catapulting into action increasing the heartrate and bloodflow. Slow deep breathing will slow down the metabolic response causing a slowing of both.

I actually enjoyed cleaning and tidying, washing and ironing today To do it in my own time instead of trying to squeeze everything into a weekend was great, Im sure it wont last!
