Egluntyne
Alcohol will not help in such situations. The bodies response to alcohol is *hic* to raise blood *hic*pressure and increase antihypermotons in the chromatic cells *hic* causing deepening thyroid closures *hic* and again causing mass hypertorsion. *hic* OK? But only on Wednesdays.
Tutti Frutti
Should we reverse polarity? An excellent hypothesis, Teabag. That's another methodology which works best on Thursdays. If applied too early, the causaility versus clarity syndrome affects the results. Applied too late, and yes... tempus fugit but in the reverse polarity (= "backwards") so adversely affects the desired result. However, the consequence therefore of abandonment of the test procedure in favour of traditional methods realises the disaster sequence. Therefore, reverse polarity should only ever be applied after 6pm on Thursdays.

Maybe I should have waited till Thursday, then it would have been in reverse.
Sheilaz
....... But, we can't wait until Thursday evening to solve this conundrum. How can we make the time go faster to reach......oh dear, back to square one, there's a hole in my bucket.
Tutti Frutti
That;s fantastic news teabag! There is one little known theorum that, if you can find an induction loop within a 100 micron zone of your bucket, use the loop to clasp the hole, apply force with the 7.5 gauge heliotrope discombobulator to re-align the matrix and the hole will shift the spectrum towards ultra-violet which, with a final phase amplification of 240 volts, can be temporarily shifted to black. Then you can just climb through and, if you're quick, you can reach tomorrow a day early. Then all you have to do is wait.

..lay a little egg for me
Surprised noone else realized that...especially after invoking the Wednesdays rule AND reversing polarity.

Sheilaz
Ah ha! I think I have the answer....Mornington Crescent!!!! Yes, I wondered about that myself but wasn't sure if we had to use the 1952 map, and you grasped the rules before me, well done. Cleverly, that's nearly taken us to Thursday. But, I'm concerned about the Space Time Continuum. Hey, could Omlet be persuaded to send Time Travelling Chickens? They could go backwards from Tuesday & travel to meet you tomorrow! Bother, 2 Bank Holidays, will that affect the Cosmic Line, or can we double bluff on this one?
Adams Egg
Travel to the North Pole ( takes 1 day ) run around in a circle crossing the international date line 6 times Travel back ( 1 day ) You have gained a week The logic of 11 year olds has been applied, failing that hire the Tardis

Toots
well i am getting a cube on Tuesday so i wanted time to go faster so i could have it now! unfortunatly I have missed Wedneday so my oppertunity has passed nuless i have access to a Deloriant, or pack of huskies heading for the north pole! looks like i have to wait! I have put my name down for some ex-batts but they could be 6 weeks away!!! plenty of chances to mess with black holes !
Sheilaz
.....looks like i have to wait! I have put my name down for some ex-batts but they could be 6 weeks away!!! Don't give up Toots, I'm sure we can sort this. Maybe mathematics will help rather than Science. Or both, keep working on it Chickwiggle. Luckily, 6 x 7 = 42 so there's the answer. I've forgotten to ask, what colour is the Cube, it's not red is it? PS...pay attention Sha! and thanks for the compliment Seagazer.
chick wiggle
keep working on it Chickwiggle. What Whatya mean, 'keep working on it' ??? Have you not been paying attention? Do I really have to repeat myself With all the detailed theories outlined, surely you should have been to Tuesday and back by now Which means you should have got your cube already! If, however, you have lost it on the way back, then shame on you! I cannot be held resonsible for you carelessness

Sheilaz
Hold on, is it Thursday? I was listening CW, I was going to set off after 6 tonight, making Cube arrival day Friday, that OK for you Toots? I just want to make sure we've thought of everything. Green makes it easier, but I'm not happy travelling a Bank Holiday. At least time travel avoids the M25. So, reverse polarity scheduled for 18.06 tonight, following CW's earlier outlines for all other details. I'm sure we're missing something though. Egluntyne
Wear you hat back to front and don't forget to pack a cerise double helix antichocolateometer - 00 gauge. You never know if you will need it, with all these space/time continuums knocking about........ especially on Wednesdays.

..lay a little egg for me
And towel...according to the Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy, it is most important always to know where your towel is when travelling the space-time continuum and on Wednesdays doubly so. Chicken Shirl
Marmite sanwiches and a flask of tea for me when you find out how to get me up from the bottom of this cliff I threw myself off. It is thursday so come on hurry up.
Space Chick
back on the science theme i wanted to call one of the girls Higgs Boson then i could claim to find it before the large hadron collider! Whilst a magnificent name, didn't they find it on Tuesday? I'm sure I heard something on the Radio yesterday.
