patsylabrador
After extensive research I have discovered that Waitrose Essential, Lemon blossom and amber bubblebath ( only £1 a bottle) make excellent bubbles for blowing. You have to use about 1/3 of the bottle but that's still only about 30p. I haven't managed to get one to float away but I'm willing to try especially as the washing up is being done when I have my bath. To any men who may read this, I mean beautiful, fragrant airyfairy bubbles - not the shortlived, sulphurous, foundation-quaking explosions of which you are invariably proud. patsylabrador
Who said they're short-lived? I wish I hadn't just had a sip of coffee when I read that.

Alis girls
Sorry I may be being a bit blonde here - but you doing the washing up in your bath - are you in it at same time? Could be dangerous surely
Christian
I think patsylabrador meant that she was having a bath, whilst someone else was washing up
Alis girls
OOOOh - silly me - Thanks Christian for clearing up that one. I was going to suggest she gets a dishwasher but I see where I was going wrong - in my defence I have down 12 hour shift at work and brain is not functioning as well as this morning

A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I love blowing bubbles! It's the best thing for instant cheeriness! In terms of bubbles for the bath though, I especially love this tip and pic from the fabulous Neil Gaiman: http://journal.neilgaiman.com/2007/10/teabreak-over-back-on-my-head.html
