Lewis Posted April 7, 2010 Share Posted April 7, 2010 (edited) Lewis is just a little bit excited After losing some girls to the fox a few weeks ago and have the WIR finally built, I'm hopefully hatching some more girls! I met one breeder last week and collected 8 eggs, and another 2 boxes came today I have: 4 Transylvanian Naked Necks 4 Silver laced (frizzle) poland bantams 3 Lavender araucana Silver Sussex Lemon Pyle or Dark brahma Buff X Black Orpington 3 Barred Wyandotte bantams Silver laced Wyandotte bantam Pekin X Poland bantam Welsummer X FCB maran (meat bird) Incy has been playing up a bit the past few days, so hope at least some hatch, and then a few are girls Have another 12 Brahma X Maran coming for someone else too Edited April 30, 2010 by Guest Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chick-a-doodle-doo Posted April 7, 2010 Share Posted April 7, 2010 Good luck, I was hoping to get naked necks in my ebay mix but they have come today and are mostly silkies (which I love) and then 6 which I think are leghorns or legbars (cant read it very well but they are white eggs not much of a mix really! They won't all be fertile + hatch, then some will be boys, so me thinks thats 5 girls max and he said we can keep 6 girls Saying that we set 12 eggs last year + got 1 girl!
