chickiepiggies
Check out my chickies..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r34xPQv6U8 They didn't last very long though!!
Luvachicken
Brilliant idea , i think someone also did it with peas. How did you hang it up. I have the cube but with a small door and find it hard to get things to dangle from the roof. Actually i think it might be impossible unless you are very bendy
Daffodill
I'm going to try that one
Tutti Frutti
Fantastic idea! My Roxy just takes one look at the bowl of mealworms I carry in to them and knocks it clean out of my hands every single time, the minx! This'll mean it takes her much longer to scoff the lot
dixie chick
Loved that video! Your girls looked and sounded soooo excited! What sort of chickens are they? They all looked similar - just different colours. Looked so gorgeous and healthy ....
docsquid
Nice idea. Mine go completely nuts when I appear with the mealies. Megan tries to fly up onto the box every time. I don't know how I'd get past the reception committee to hang it up, though.
sewitall
Ah, what lovely noises they are making. It didn't take long for them to figure out that they have to peck from underneath. The white one (sorry still learning and don't know the breeds yet) didn't seem to be getting very many though.
sadietoo
Ah bless little Snowy..she was a bit slower to catch on /deferential to the big girls!!! I will definitely do that with my girls...at the moment we have a plentiful supply of corn cobs .... but we these will run out sooner or later
