Seagazer
lovely all big hair and shoulder pads - OH hated it I loved looking like a freak - still do just dont have to try as hard if I dont comb my hair its still big. Went to see Culture Club with black lippie and blue hair - ohh those were the days. We just started watching this last night although i think we missed the beginning. We went to see Culture Club at the Lyceum in London when they had just had a couple of hits. I absolutely loved Boy George (he's a local boy too). It was great to hear him singing last night. My Dad absolutely hated him and would walk out of the room when he came on the telly. Mind you I didn't dress like him. My best friend at the time who is actually my SIL and I usually were to be found in dungarees as we loved Dexy's Midnight Runners I finished watching just as Tears for Fears were starting to sing, I was addicted to playing Mad World every time I went to the pub. I'm looking forward to see who else is on it later.
Sam Palmer
What no http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLh0T3FG_KkOr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cznha2YTTh0 Or But the seventies were better, Just turn up the volume to 11......... Will have to catch up with this on iplayer. This is 'my' decade of music. Colin, you have good taste. I loved Gary Numan and wanted to marry him and used to get loads of verbal abuse in school because they all thought he was weird and I think I was the only person in my year to like his music. When I was at uni ('84-'87), there was a boy in my hall of residence that we used to refer to as 'helicopter landing pad', (short for 'I've got a helicopter landing pad on my head'), because he had similar hair to the lead singer of A Flock of Seagulls. (Infantile I know, but it's the sort of thing you do at 18/19 and find amusing!!!)

Seagazer
We finished watching it last night. Really enjoyed it, might leave it on the planner for a time to keep watching. Morten really was quite stunning to look at. I think he looks a bit like a younger Patrick Swayze on TOTP2.
