Helen
I too was wondering this as my rabbits would enjoy all the space the chooks have in their fenced area, do you think it would work??
Mollie333
No idea. The chickens may think that there other chickens and put them down the pecking order haha;
sewitall
In the Encylopedia of Chickens it does not recommend placing rabbits, guinea pigs or tortoises in with chickens unless the rabbits are large and can defend themselves. Chickens will peck at them, particularly if the chickens become bored.

Kirstine
Terry the hencam lady in the US has a rabbit in with her chickens, and everyone gets on. The rabbit has her own hutch but they share a run. I don't know how she did the introductions though. See http://www.hencam.com/index.php for more! Kirstine
chelsea
I wouldn't risk it to be honest. My little bunny would not stand a chance in with my girls!
WildeWoman
I wouldn't do it. My rabbits (and the female is very feisty) are just about tolerated by the chickens when they are all running around free-ranging and the rabbits move a lot quicker than the chooks and get out of their way. In a run, the rabbits won't be able to take cover and although they can bite, I would suggest that it will be the chickens doing the damage. The ducks aren't as bad, although if the mood takes them, they will put their heads down and 'ram' the rabbits too! Can you not perhaps allow the bunnies a self contained section of the run?? That is what we are in the process of doing - will post some photo's when it is done, but will be a while I'm afraid as we are just putting the concrete base and drainage down now. Sorry to be so negative!
