They are lovely-can I ask what colour eggs the Bluebelle will lay I couldn't see the breed listed on the site

All my chooks are hybrids and lay eggs in varying shades of brown. Our other bluebelle does lay quite distinctive eggs - a sort of blue tinged brown - so we expect similar from our newbie when she comes into lay. I'm no expert on breeds

You can have chickens if you live in the city as long as you have evn a tiny garden and tolerant neighbours.

Interesting that my Rocky and Freckle look like Snoxy's Lulu and Clara when we give them different breed names I am no expert on breeds

 

Anyway, today whilst I was out moving my young bean plants from greenhouse to garden I heard a scratching in the nest box and, lo and behold, Rocky laid me an egg

Why can't you keep them if you live in the city? I've only had two from omlet but having lost one on Friday was looking to get some to keep the other company
