txswanie
I would like to try adding bokashi to the food to firm up the poop a little. I notice that for chickens, the bran is widely available in the UK. Here in the States the only Bokashi bran I can find is a compost starter. Is this the same thing?
Christian
Yep, same thing I think. It contains micro organisms that help break down compost too.
docsquid
Our girls absolutely love the layers mash with added bokasi bran from wiggly wigglers.
Tutti Frutti
How much Bokashi do you give them? I was going to mix it in with their pellets. I looked at Wriggly Wrigglers (£5 for a kilo) but, by the time you add postage, it's heading towards a tenner So I bought a 600g bag for £4.99 on Amazon from Eart Essentials - ordered late Thursday night and I couldn't believe it when the postie knocked on the door this morning (36 hours later) with a lovely smelly package All keen to give it to my girls now
quickcluck
I put a handfull in with their pellets! Mine love it on it's own, but that is an extra special treat!
Tutti Frutti
WOW! The LOVE it! I just sprinkled a bit on top of their pellets and they went bananas! Meant to say, the Amazon one is free delivery
