Chucky Mama
I have to keep my phone on the kitchen on a shelf so that it gets reception. Yesterday I knocked it off the shelf and it flew through the air and landed in the next room ...in...the dog's water bowl OH stood at one end of the kitchen and threw a piece of pitta bread and it landed straight in the toaster it is quite distance. He forced the kids to come and listen to the story and did it again - landed in the toaster a second time Unfortunately for us and our pitta breads which more than often end up on the floor, it has not happened since Have you hace a 'what are the chances of that' moment? Guest
HA how random is that... My toast always lands buttered side down... it's quite infuriating!
Patricia W
There's a scientific reason for the toast- something to do with the butter side being heavier. But I can't explain the others ! Tricia

Cinnamon
I once saw something quite bizarre. It was at a toddlers playgroup party thing, outdoors,& there was a football & a freestanding basketball hoop. A little boy kicked a football high into the air, sort of backwards so it went over his head,& it went straight into the basketball hoop, which he couldn't even see at the time.It was a long way from him too - wish I had had my camcorder with me! ubereglu
That's quite cool! I'll always remember a story about the daughter of a friend of my mother. She was locking the front door, span round with her phone in her hand and it flew out of her grasp and into the fishpond!
patsylabrador
I don't know if this is the kind of thing you mean, but about 25 years ago, I was in Oberammagau, visiting the Passion Play theatre with my husband and we thought we'd go on a tour. Our german isn't very good so we just tagged onto what we thought was a tourist group. Eventually the group climbed up onto the stage, arranged itself into a semi-circle and started to sing 'Oh Tannenbaum'. We were on the very end and didn't know what to do, so we just mimed along. They were filming what I guess was a choir and when they watched it they must have wondered who on earth we were. It was weird because no one challenged us or even seemed to notice us. After the song we slipped off the stage and ran out the back door into a yard and surprised a man working there and found the nearest bar. I still can't believe it actually happened, it was all so surreal.

Snowy
Not quite in the same league as Patsys, but a while ago young sons and I were making paper planes and shooting them across the lounge at each other. OH was sat grumping about trying to watch the footy in peace, when one of the planes did a graceful arc and landed nose down in his cup of tea Me and the boys were in hysterics
poachedegg
We live in Cheshire and our In laws in Hampshire. DD has gone to stay with them for a few days, so we met at Warwick Services to save anybody having to do the full journey. As we were sat in the cafe just about to feed baby fosling, I noticed in the distance MY parents who have not spoken to me for about 18months (as I spoke up to defend our then 6 yr old) - we still live in the same town and in all that time I haven't bumped into them.......then we went to Warwick Services! (I avoided them splendidly - I don't have any urge to reconcile and feel so much freeer (SP?) since it all happened! )
