Lesley
Don't know about Oxford - but it's light drizzle/sleet here now. I'll look in Metcheck for you......... It's the same for Oxford - light sleet until midday then cloudy. Edited March 22, 2007 by Guest

hillfamily
Damp drizzly rain here Never mind, Bognor Regis is having it's 'HERE COMES SUMMER' weekend of fun, fireworks and market next weekend Normally good for a down pour and gale force winds. Don't know why they have to have it so early in the year We're only just in Spring

Guest
Thank you for looking it up Lesley. DD2 should be OK then. I have no idea what they are doing. 70 teenagers in Oxford for the day Half of them German. I think they will see something connected to Harry Potter, but I can't remember anything else about it. Lesley
Thank you for looking it up Lesley. DD2 should be OK then. I have no idea what they are doing. 70 teenagers in Oxford for the day Half of them German. I think they will see something connected to Harry Potter, but I can't remember anything else about it. I presume there is a responsible adult with them then? - unlike the one they've left behind (I can't remember how old DD2 is - perhaps she doesn't need an adult with her at all? )
Guest
They are all 14 or 15. Teachers, both English and German are with them. I just had to provide a packed lunch. If I'm irresponsible, can I just sit all day with my feet up? Please!
Lesley
Of course Ginette! - you can join me edit - I'm not here with my feet up - just having a rest after mixing two 5lt cans of paint together and decanting back into two cans - I'm shattered and haven't got the energy to do the painting now

Lesley
You could come and help me paint the bedroom Ginette - no fog today so it would only take you 2 hours to get here instead of
Guest
Getting away from it all sounds good! A change is (almost) as good as a rest. So far I've done nothing today! And I have the prospect of a very long school concert tonight. It'll be good, but 3 hours! If only there was a chaise long for me in the audience. And I have to do 12 party bags before Saturday. Groan! Can you tell I'm totally exhausted and sorry for myself today?
