mostin
Thanks for all the lovely comments, . I have really been enjoying watching them today. I am planning to keep all the girls, as I am hoping they will be coloured egg layers. Being realistic, I will prob only get 1/2 or less girls , and I have more than enough room for them, the same goes for the older babies. I can't keep up with the demand for eggs from colleagues and neighbours, especially the coloured eggs , so hopefully all these chicks will help me keep up with demand. Really crossing my fingers that at least 1 out of the 3 buff sussex babies is a girl . If I have more time and room this year I woud like to hatch another batch of just Buff Sussex's , but don't tell Shauny

HENthusiastic
Hi Plum, I'm afraid Mostin was a bit on the ball. She didn't leave me on my own in the garden at any time. I could go back and plan a strategic movement, with OH distracting her whilst I do some "collections". How many would you like and of which kind?
