Raina
Hi all, We are hoping to move to the Isle of Anglesey in a couple of weeks but my mum went and gave me the worst news ever,She said that the local council won't allow chooks So i need to re-home my girls I've got 2 women coming to have a look at them sometime this week when my sister & BIL bring them over. They are so excited the built a WIR but forgot to put in a door If they decide to take them i'll know they will be going to a good home as they treat all their animals like kids. Lewis
Does the Allotment Act not mean you'll be able to keep them? I'd ask - we stayed in a holiday cottage and the neighbours had chickens. Can't see why they'd say no if they were clean and not noisy...
Chook n Boo Mum
Oh dear Raina, that's not good news about the rehoming.......but good that they have a potential home with the ladies.........are they a little eccentric , fancy forgetting the door on the run Good luck Sha x

The Dogmother
I think (but may be wrong) that Raina is moving into council or HA property, their rules on livestock are pretty prohibitive. Sorry to hear that Raina, I hope that this move is less traumatic than the last one.
docsquid
Sorry to hear that, but it sounds like they have a potentially enthusiastic home to go to.
