Omletina Kyckling Posted June 17, 2010 Share Posted June 17, 2010 It looks like things are finally moving along on the divorce front and I'm hoping to be fully resident in t'hills above Huddersfield in the next month or so......sooooo I wondered if anybody was up for Omletstock 3....The Return of the Craft Weekend......it won't be so grand this time, as I'll be in a 2 bedroom weaver's cottage rather than the big old farmhouse, but it'll be cosy....perhaps we should call in Omletstockette?...my house is quite close to a hotel so if lots of people wanted to come and were willing to stay there, that'd work....otherwise it means you all bunking up together!!! So....who is interested and when is good for you? This is all dependent on when I'm up there but I thought we could look towards August? It gives me something to look forward to! Omletina Kyckling Posted July 22, 2010 Author Share Posted July 22, 2010 OK.....I'm due to move out of Misery Manor and into my little cottage a week on Saturday (keep everything crossed people!!) so Omletstockette will be happening August 21/22......so far I have definite confirmations from: Egluntyne (bagged a bed, asssuming I've bought one by then!) Couperwife (bagged a sofabed) Snowy Howells (thinking of putting her tent somewhere?!!!) Anybody else? As I said before, there is a hotel within easy walking distance if anybody wants to come and stay over there (I can put a camp bed in the hallway and there is another sofa which somebody could sleep on, so I have a bit more room for overnighters, but this place is a lot smaller than the last abode!!) and there are other hotels nearby.... I'll be wearing my embroidered white coat and everything, plus getting taught how to judge. Will any crafts still be happening on the Sunday? It's just a silly name we came up with for a craft weekend which I had at my house, where lots of us met up for a weekend and ate cake, drank coffee and wine and did some crafting.
