Omletstock 3? Yorkshire? **DATE August 21/22**

We should be up and about from about 9 so any time after that would be fab.....

We've already been muchly busy, we've built an Ikea desk and upholstered my window seat.....they are paying for their board!! Cathy Couperwife made the mistake of saying her degree was in engineering so I've had her sawing with a jigsaw, drilling holes in the wall etc!!

The gin and tonics are flowing well now.... ;-)

Have you done the felt dance or any karaoke yet?

What crafts will you be doing?

No felting yet....so no dancing....no official karaoke but we are at the "Bat out of Hell" stage so we are all singing along!!

Lots of things being knitted and crocheted and some glass painting tomorrow.....we've already upholstered my window seat and it looks fab!!

I am just back from my day of drinking tea, gossiping and of course..........crafting :lol::lol: .

It is a lovely cottage Diane, and I hope we warmed it well for you. It was great to meet your mum and the rest of the usual gang plus a couple of people I had not yet met in "real life" before  .

The puss cats were gorge too, and I hope Ludvig didn't mind being mauled by me every time I walked past him  .

I had a go at glass painting today. We all sat outside in the sun and painted on jars and glasses. I am not artistic at all, but I really enjoyed it. It was really soothing to do, and we all went really quiet as we had to concentrate  . thank you Snowy for bringing all the equipment for it.

Thanks for putting up with us all, and feeding us and supplying all the tea :D

I'll take a photo of my efforts soon and put it on here. I'm sure there will be other photos soon. We were all drooling over the quilts made by Plum, and Omletina was trying to nick Snowy's crocheted blanket :lol::lol: .

Was a great day a real therapy. Good company, chooks, lovely location and chatter surrounded by more chickenalia than anyone can collect in a lifetime

No idea what Aimee is doing here :? She may have been inspecting her thong.

Thank you all so much for a lovely time - you were all so welcoming and helpful and I really enjoyed myself. :D

I was very impressed by your creative talents and can't wait to put some ideas into motion. I mabe the fatal error though of detouring via the local craft shop later on for a look......

Came away £38 lighter with a vast array of beads and (cough) thongs. I know what my department will be receiving this year as christmas gifts

Also picked up a cute sewing box to store above items and some gorgeous chicken ribbon, for which I have no ideas but couldn't resist. If needs be I'll just tie it in my hair.

Thanks again. I hope I behaved myself enough to be invited back.
