hillfamily
I've really deliberated over posting a reply to this but feel I just have to say the following. The chooks they are rescuing are not battery hens, they are freeranging hens. This rescue had a part to play in the reduced amount of battery hens that could be rescued last weekend by the sussex coordinator of the bhwt as people in the area are arranging to rehome from the brighton rescue rather than take on rescued battery hens. All hens deserve a good life but my own personal belief is that battery hens deserve it a little bit more.
