AJuff
If Ukadex, bumper bits and purple spray don't work what next? Two bullies can still pull out and eat feathers from back and bottom. Anything else I can try or do? I'm even considering get rid of the two!!!!
Pikey
Are they getting enough protein???? Sure I saw somewhere they eat feathers if not getting enough....perhaps try giving them some cat food or tuna. Would seperating them help ....or have you tried that/?? Guess last resort would be to get rid of them
Daphne
I've had success with Stockholm Tar in the spray form.

Burtie14
When Betty is getting a bit boisterous and pulling feathers, we try to immediately push her down (gently) on the ground to show her that she's done wrong and isn't allowed to peck other chickens. Not totally sure if she understands this, but she is definitely pulling far less these days, and I think that this combined with the regular Ukadexings is putting her off. Alternatively you could try seperating the bullies for a little while - put them in a smaller run for a couple of weeks perhaps?
coco
One of my ex batts Lola is in the sin bin at the moment, she's been pulling feathers out and jumping on the two smaller hens, she picked poor Coco up the other night and swung her round. I will leave her seperated for a week or so, hopefully she will have gone down in the pecking order by then.
AJuff
I think I'll resort to putting them in the eglu and run for a few weeks until the others grow back their feathers. . . .
Porkypie
I failed with anti-peck options and my feather plucker now lives in a separate but adjacent run. She's been separate for over 2months now and still can't be trusted. Maybe try this for a while and eventually they can go back in together. AJuff
I have set up the green eglu inside the run and will move the new hens from the garden in with the others. The offenders will move out of the run and ito the purpke eglu in the garden. Then I'll have some time to think about what to do whilst feathers grow back.
