I'd cleaned them out yestuday so shut the door so as not to have any escapees, and forgot to open it - thankgoodness for the WIR and good weather!!! Alls well today though. C&T
It's one way of saving having to clean out the cube again in a hurry!!
Pipichick
That is a very good idea for keeping the poo trays clean
kissinuk
Done that a few times after cleaning our Eglu! Found her perched under the garden table late one night and next to the shed another. Whoops.
Chicken Mad
I've moved the Eglu last Friday, not far just about 1 meter and turned 90 degrees. Rain started falling rather heavy at around their perch time. Mabel and Florance worked it out straight away and hopped in the Eglu before getting wet. Poor Gladys living by her name (meaning lame) stud in the middle of the garden getting rather soggy!! I had to pick her up and shove her in. Guest
I have done that before. You feel bad but a few treats and a lot of attention and they are fine about it.

Chicken Mad
Could it be we are all ladies of a certain age? What? 21!? Don't you ladies check and count your girls before closing the door? Well I think I'm just showing my OCD here. Tell you the truth my girls do tend to tell me off every evening when I shine a torch in their sleepy faces! jlo
I remember one night wondering why they kept coming out to greet me even though it was getting really dark. Eventually it dawned on me that I had shut the door whilst cleaning it!
