'The Good Life' returns

Recommended Posts

The classic BBC comedy 'The Good Life' is to return to our screens...............as a reality show.

Sue Perkins & Giles Coren, who were so good together in 'Supersizers' are growing veggies, grazing goats in the park & weaving their own clothes. They will also generate their own power, & while experts are on hand if they need themthey are mostly expected to work things out for themselves.

Sounds like fun! :P

He is a bit of a pig when it comes to his food, isn't he?

But then he is a restaurant critic,so I guess enthusiasm should be expected......not that that is any excuse for poor manners,of course.

They work really well together.

Claret,I think you would really enjoy 'Supersizers' - you should check it out!

It's vaguely educational too Clare,so Rosie would like it too.

Basically they live,as far as they can,and eat from a certain period in time.

There has been the 70's,Regency times,Victorian and so forth.

They have a chef or cook recreate the foods of the time, and there have been some weird and wonderful things they have had to live on.

Actually, Supersizers is a very misleading title for it.
