Lesley
I've made the appointment for Tali to be spayed We were complete wrecks when Jazz was spayed - no doubt we'll be as bad this time

chelsea
Cor! She's grown quick Lesley! How old is Tali now? Skye is about 10 months (we think!) and she has just started to have her first season. We are hopefully going to get her spayed October/November time. She is dreadful at the vets though - absolutely terrified.
Lesley
She's just coming up to 11 months Chelsea. Carl took her into the Vets again today and she's OK - sits on the scales and has a look around. Her sister was spayed last week and has recovered really quickly. Lesley
Tali is all done! - and back home . We collected her at 4.30 and she's had a Weetabix and yoghurt and a lead walk. I'm soooo looking forward to a quiet evening with no wrestling dogs - is that very wrong of me? I'm not looking forward to another 9 days of lead walks when she's so used to having 8 acres to play in without restriction
Snowy
Aww, bless her! Is she feeling all sorry for herself?

Egluntyne
Here's hoping she is back to normal soon.
Lesley
She is back to normal - she dragged me at the end of the lead and my son had to rescue me I purposely booked it for as soon as my grandchildren went on holiday but today I had my niece and nephew who are younger than my grandchildren - Tali loves children and was jumping up at the stairgate She has her first check up tomorrow. The Dogmother
I wouldn't worry too much Lesley - if she feels well enough to jump around then she's unlikely to come to much harm. Ruby was the same and recovered very quickly.
Lesley
Jazz was the same Tali was such a pain last night - she doesn't like the enforced resting - she was so naughty. If we take her off the lead she will be running and leaping at 80 miles an hour and mauling Jazz to the ground. We didn't have that with Jazz as she was the only dog. We daren't risk anything happening to the wound as we're off to France in a few weeks........
beach chick
Labs are so irrepressible!!! ours had an elbow dysplasia op the spring before last - at about 14 mths - 6 wks of enforced rest, he was a nightmare! I resorted to buying those dog treat dispenser things (Nina Otterson?) and feeding him all his food from them just so he had something to do.... Tali is beautiful, and sounds as if she is recovering nicely
mostin
Glad the op went ok. Good luck keeping her on a lead
Lesley
We have got a couple of the Nina Otterson toys as well but raw meat and bones might be a bit messy Tali is doing quite well on the lead - if we didn't have two dogs we would probably let her off but she and Jazz would be all over the place. Tali is OK until evening and then she's so naughty...........I think I'll try the liver treats I've made in the toys tonight. This is Jazz in the conservatory.......... ....and Tali........ Lesley
No, she's not normally this naughty! She came in quite handy - she was 'hoovering' up all the dead flies off the windowsill
