We went on a camel trek to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and saw this

 

 

Remind you of anything? - (I think it was an old camel saddle).

Is it fox proof? Looks a tad flimsy to me wouldnt want to be a chuck in that in case it capsized. there you are laying an egg and minding your own business and the sky falls in. Hen looks a bit emaciaited (SP) too

Most livestock are so valued that they have a 'minder' in the way of a child with a stick to chase off any dogs or foxes ( I assume there must be foxes around somewhere). The chooks were actually in pretty good shape. There was more rain up in the mountains and therefore more food available thankfully.

Good glad they were well cared for - i might stick YS out in garden with a stick to guard mine - good punishment for him
