Alis girls
has anyone got a good recipe please and can you freeze them cooked or uncooked? Thanks
scarlettohara
The basic recipe from my Nanny is 6 oz self raising flour to 3 oz suet then add water to mix (salt and pepper to taste), I add parsley and other herbs sometimes. Pop them on top of the casserole 30 minutes before the end and if you leave the lid off then you get a crusty top I would freeze uncooked although never tried it
chickencam
If you use Atora suet there is a recipe on the side of the packet. Don't over mix them ot they lose their lightness.
Cinnamon
I use the Atora method too. Their lighter suet is very good
