Goldstar
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone was a member of this gym and could give me an idea of what their membership prices are please? I have searched there website but all I can find is that most of the prices start from under one pound a day. I would be interested in having a look round at my local one but would like to have an idea of prices before I go. I dont want to be in the situation of being shown prices and then feel I have to join, which has happened before (I have a problem saying no). Any replies would be gratefully received. Thanks. Christian
No idea sorry! Could you not go in and ask, leaving your wallet/purse in the car? That way you can't sign up for anything and won't be pressured into it!
Charlottechicken
I've just found some info online which says their memberships cost from £28 per month. But it does say they explain all about the different levels of membership if you go along for a visit (I think you have to book a free pass online). Have you thought about emailing them? Goldstar
Thank you Charlottechicken. Think I will ring them tomorrow. If prices start from that for an extra 5 pounds I can join a gym where I have a choice of 2 swimming pools, the gym, a running club and activty classes like step. Space Chick
Mine is £60 a month..... And that's with an NHS staff discount Worth it though, as it's clean and nice, and I go as I want to make the most of my money
The Dogmother
There's one near us, not for me, but a friend likes it well enough and reports that it's about £30/month. I'd shop around if I were you and find one that you feel comfortable in and where the price is acceptable.
Cranfield Kate
as a personal trainer/fitness instructor i would beg you, if you were going to join something, to join a gym that offers you more than what Gymphobics do... I am sure some people love it and would swear by it but really you'll get so much more out of (by which i mean better results) a membership of somewhere you can have a much more varied programme. and if you join a "normal" gym, make sure you take advantage of free personal training programmes and stuff like that.
