The Dogmother
That really made me angry when I saw it earlier today, that and the man who drove off and abandoned his dog. they are on a par with this one... Alis girls
how do they check these people do not get an animal in the 5 yrs banned. i mean you are not asked when you apply at RSPCA or a pet shop. How do they enforce?
Chucky Mama
I saw both of these yesterday. What a shocking disgrace. I am suprised that the man that left the dog has not been found, it looks like he was a passenger too so other people would have been part of it. how do they check these people do not get an animal in the 5 yrs banned. i mean you are not asked when you apply at RSPCA or a pet shop. How do they enforce? I think that they pretty much rely on others to report them. The media tend to do their best in making their names public and neighbours etc make it their mission to keep an eye on them.

The Dogmother
I hope that his forces colleagues find out and give him the treatment he deserves. I have just been sent another link by a friend who also used to take in rescues (I shan't post it) regarding a dead puppy left at the gates of a rescue - that needn't have happened. I'm hard as nails and that has left me very leaky of eye.

Couperman
I have been extremely drunk many times and many times as a result I have done stupid things, and I have had to deal with the embarrassment..........., but this guy beggars belief. It takes a 'special' kind of person to want to microwave a living creature, it takes a 'special' kind of drunk to be able to catch a hamster. And it takes a potential serial killer to actually go through with it. I once read a book written by a criminal profiler (not a happy read) who claimed that virtually all sadistic serial killers had a history of torturing defenceless animals. He wasn't sure if all animal torturers became serial killers but pretty much all such serial killers had a record of torturing animals. I find that a very sobering thought. Kev.
