Lesley Posted July 31, 2007 Author Share Posted July 31, 2007 Mindy has been sitting on eggs for over 5 weeks - thrown most of them out and then yesterday hatched one duckling! There was another but she abandoned it and we were unable to save it - I warmed it up, sitting with it all evening, and then we put it under the heat lamp but it didn't make it through the night. Here is the happy family this afternoon! The turkeys were let out into the run today The Quail have a new run - with a double door system! They are great escape artists! There are 3 of them in this photo - bottom right hand corner of the inner run....... ...and this is part 1 of my big plan for all the hens.......
