Charlottechicken
I have some glass salts, which were left in my house by the previous owner. They are boring simply patterned ones, nothing special, and I use them to grow cress in. I've just googled and found out they are called open salts and there's a few specialist websites, and one of those websites has **this** lovely page. They look so pretty, I want them all
Looney
Ooh, I like! I think I have seen something similar at some point, can't for the life of me remember where or when! Can I admit that until I clicked on the link I had no idea that they were called 'salts'
Charlottechicken
Can I admit that until I clicked on the link I had no idea that they were called 'salts' I don't think you will be the only one I have a little blue one at my mum's house. I remember buying it from Scarborough with pocket money when I was little, for my dolls!! Now I need to go round and rescue it, and see if it's an original
The Dogmother
I have a clear one by my cooker, it contains sea salt flakes for cooking. I got it at one of the Newark antique fairs for a quid or two. i love it to bits.
