goodinparts
Mine comes in 2 parts...Went to see DD in Cardiff yesterday (about an hour from home)....Came home with a bag full of books she no longer needs there - and without my bag, containing purse, diary & all other essentials. Silly enough to be going on with, you'd have thought...but there is more....Fast forward to lunchtime today, when we divert to Cardiff en route (well, sort of,) home from collecting my very exciting from Axminster....Bag collected DD offers us coffee & says she'll just put the visitors' parking permit in OH's car. Except it's in MY car. In Stroud. An hour away
bluekarin
Taking ED to A&E to get her sprained ankle checked out. 4 1/2 hours, 2 hours just to see the triage nurse , an xray, and far too much prodding of a very sore and bruised area later to be told that yes, it was a sprain
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Friday: went to Ikea, was on the sit and ride disabled mobility scooter, feeding my new daughter, while playing with a moose puppet. Saturday: went to a wedding. The first thing the bride saw as she walked up the aisle was me feeding my daughter. Fortunately, she's my main lactation advisor so was very impressed. Sunday(today): Forgot I was wearing my pyjamas and went out for a walk in the park. Got the trouser cuffs a bit muddy. And then fed my daughter out in Sainsbury's car park. I think a theme is going to develop here imminently!
Daphne
Well I know its Monday and Friday is well in the past but the stupidest thing I did was lose my glasses and so I had to drive 500 miles over the weekend without them. I also dropped a padlock to a shed with machines in it and lost it. And then I left my handbag in an unlocked car - fortunately it was still there. Today I have had to go and buy a very cheap pair of off the shelf specs so I can function until I can take OH with me to choose some which actually suit me. I was really really really not a happy bunny!
scarlettohara
Bought 2 baby guinea pigs - I have quite enough animals but couldn't resist

Sheilaz
Some sad & some happy silly things so far. Mine is just exasperating for OH; Working far later than expected, I called our home landline 'phone to see if LSH was back before me. When he answered I said I was still at work, then added "Are you home yet?" Ah, yes, rapidly moving on, I asked him if he'd heard from DD2. In a resigned voice, he told me that DD2 had 'phoned and asked exactly the same thing that evening. "Goodness, we must be related", I said. Poor man. sadietoo
Oh lillybetbabs I did the self same thing in a Sainsburys car park in the rain with trolley and children in tow - they thought I was completely bonkers as I was trying to get into a car that was the same as the car I'd got rid of 6 months before... And Patsy - I think I need one of those pens myself - much more engrossing that watching sand dry... I have done it too, when I had my bright orange old Beetle - you don't see too many of those around,so I nearly fell over when I looked up & found the car whose tyres I had been kicking in frustration at not being able to get in,was in fact someone elses Me too..going back a good few years now...and even worse my key (remember those?) actually opened the car door, and i was in the driving seat before I realised that I didn't have an air freshener in my car!
